Samantha Rodriguez

Dance Style: Tap, Private Lessons

Samantha Rodriguez grew up in Forest Park, Illinois where she began her dance training at the age of 5 and then began dancing competitively at the age of 7. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, contemporary, musical theater and modern. At the age of 14 she began teaching at both a recreational and competitive level. She has won many awards and overall scores throughout the years. In 2020, her choreography with INNOVATION Dance Company was awarded the Al Gilbert Award in tap excellence. Her focus has been in early childhood classes and tap choreography but is grateful for the opportunity to expand her creativity to other styles.

Samantha is extremely passionate about creating a positive environment in the studio and feels very fortunate to be able to share her joy and knowledge for dance with her students!
