Sandra Vaughan (1940-2017) founded the studio in 1972 to share her love of dance and extensive training with the Plainfield community. Vaughan Dance Academy was the first dance academy established in Plainfield. Currently, the school is located in downtown Plainfield and is still serving the Plainfield Community.
Today, Vaughan Dance Academy is managed by Samantha Vaughan, Sandy’s daughter. She feels blessed to keep her mother’s legacy alive. The dance academy has continued to offer the same top quality education while fostering the same beliefs the studio was founded on.
